1.  Multiplication quiz- out of 60- 4 minutes given.  Some students scored 60.  Some are scoring 35 and 40.  These students need to practise nightly for speed and accuracy or Math is going to get progressively more difficult.  Fractions unit is upcoming and involves a lot of multiplication concepts.
2.  Handwriting- 3 pages on linking the letters- due Monday.  Lots of time given in class!
3.  Novel study projects- a couple kids were sick- pls get in ASAP.   The students have one more due, plus the comprehension questions they will get Monday.  Then, they will be having a test in a week.

Students enjoyed Valentines card exchanges and Winn Dixie movie ( based on novel study by 6 kids in class).  Thank you so much for all the snacks which arrived!
